Dear Golden Sierra Students and Families,
We are excited to welcome everyone back! As we prepare for the first day of school, please be aware of two important items:
1. Senior Parking Lot – Temporary Closure
Due to ongoing track and field construction, the senior parking lot will be closed for at least the first two days of school. It may remain closed longer, and I will provide an update if that becomes necessary.
During construction, all seniors must park in the lower campus parking lot until the senior parking lot is reopened.
Please do not park anywhere other than the lower parking lot, including the bus turnaround area or upper campus. Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas may be towed.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We are very excited about our new track and field improvements and hope to have this phase of construction completed soon.
2. First Day of School Bell Schedule - Thursday 8-13-26
As a reminder, we will use a special bell schedule on the first day of school. The day begins at 7:50 AM and ends at 2:40 PM. We will also have a Welcome Back Rally in the gym from 8:05–8:35 AM.
Grades 7–8
- Period 1: 7:50–8:00
- Welcome Back Rally: 8:05–8:35
- Period 1 Continued: 8:40–9:28
- Nutrition: 9:28–9:36
- Period 2: 9:41–10:39
- Period 3: 10:44–11:42
- Lunch: 11:42–12:12
- Period 4: 12:17–1:15
- Period 5: 1:20–2:40
Grades 9–12
- 1st Block: 7:50–8:00
- Welcome Back Rally: 8:05–8:35
- 1st Block Continued: 8:40–9:50
- Nutrition: 9:50–9:55
- 2nd Block: 10:00–11:20
- 3rd Block: 11:25–12:45
- Lunch: 12:45–1:15
- 4th Block: 1:20–2:40
All passing periods are five minutes.
