Mr. Medley — Special Education; now serving at Georgetown Elementary
Mrs. Spencer — Mathematics; retired
A very special congratulations goes to Mrs. Stacey Spencer on her retirement after 28 years in education, including 24 years serving the students of Golden Sierra. Stacey has been the consummate math teacher, never giving up on students and always finding another way to help them succeed. Beyond the classroom, she expanded the horizons of countless students through Travel Club, creating life-changing experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Her passion for teaching, her unwavering support of students, and her commitment to helping young people see the world have left a legacy that will continue long after her retirement. We thank Stacey for everything she has given to Golden Sierra and wish her many wonderful adventures in this next chapter.
We will also greatly miss Judy Bailey, who retired after 24 years of district service. Judy was much more than the face and voice of Golden Sierra; she was a trusted colleague, friend, and steady presence for students, families, and staff. Her kindness, knowledge, and willingness to help everyone will be deeply missed.
