The Grizzly Cross Country Team, led by Team Captain Ryan Sewell, placed 19th in the CIF State Cross Country Finals held at Woodward Park in Fresno on November 30th.  Ryan placed 54th overall with a time of 17:17 for the 5K race which was a personal best time.  Ryan was follwed by teammates David Blanton 105th in 18:07, Hunter Hughes 138th in 18:35, Chris Lopez 173rd in 19:30, Nick Blanton 176th in 19:34, Allan Nicholson 177th in 19:40, and Nick Anaya in 197th in 22:32.  The team's goals were to beat Foresthill High School and be in the Top 20 in the State Finals.  Everyone had a great time and looked forward to the possibility of returning to the State Met next year where they hope to improve upon their placement in this year's Finals.
